Gallery of My Art
A collection of my diverse creations, exploring watercolour, sculpture, acrylic, and oil. Each piece tells a story.
Watercolour
Translucent Hues
Watercolour paints blend seamlessly, creating soft transitions of colour and subtle details. The vibrant washes capture the essence of the subject, be it a seascape or a portrait.
Captivating Textures
Watercolour techniques like layering, dry brushing, and salt effects produce unique and captivating textures. The paper's texture plays a crucial role in creating depth and movement in the artwork.
Atmosphere
Watercolor's ethereal and delicate nature lends itself to expressing many themes. The translucent layers create a sense of depth and mystery, inviting the viewer to imagine the story behind the image.
Jellyfish

First Interest
My first time incorporating jellyfish into my work was back in my a-levels when i kept seeing picture of plastic bags and face mask floating in the water, and to me they looked so peaceful and elegant floating, dancing, in the ocean. Such a contradiction of what plastic in the ocean means.

Intricate Structures
Jellyfish possess an ethereal beauty, their translucent bodies pulsating with bioluminescence and gliding effortlessly through the water.Their intricate structures, from the delicate tentacles to the bell-shaped body, are a testament to the wonders of nature.

My Jellyfish
My first jellyfish I made were 3D structures, one was crocheted into bleached coral colours, and the others were made of face masks, and old children’s bracelet making materials. From there I have started focusing more on painting the detailed structure of the creatures, admiring the shapes and colours that they come in. Currently spending most of my time painting Purple Compass Jellyfish (as seen here), the vibrancy of colour makes them so special to look at.

Scuplture
The pieces I made as a part of my A-Level art personal investigation hold a very special place in my heart, it was my first time properly experimenting on bigger pieces all by myself, and often I sent myself some rather crazy ideas. I have never gotten on well with clay so that was one hurdle I wanted to get over, as well as just finding anything and everything to explore ideas with.
Coral
These coral sculptures were my final conclusion from a years long art project, taking me well over 30hrs to make. They represent the death and decay of coral bleaching due to unstable sea temperatures, however I incorporated colour growing up the sculptures, indicating that there is hope, and new life can and will jump back if we take care of our oceans and our planet.
Cans
Prior to the creation of my giant corals came my cans, these were heavily inspired by Stephanie Kilgast - more specifically her piece Mojito. Still keeping the same inspiration of life and death of the coral pieces, these sculptures highlight the source of the problem - humans and the waste that they produce. How quickly so much rubbish builds up each day, suffocating Earth.
Miscellaneous
Other pieces I have made include: A whale tail fluke, covered in washed up ropes and plastic I found on a local beach. A hand decaying with the loss of water. Oil spill on a group of clay coral pieces. An old fishing hook covered in barnacles, and a moving sculpture series captured through a photoshoot series of ocean plastic mimicking organisms.
